What to bring
- A signed physician requisition for your exam
- Your valid Ontario health card
- Any preparation steps your provider asked you to follow
- Prior imaging reports if requested by your physician
Preparation by exam
X-Ray
Service details- Wear comfortable clothing without metal fasteners if possible.
- Bring your valid Ontario health card and signed physician requisition.
- Tell our team if you are or may be pregnant.
Ultrasound
Service details- Follow any prep instructions given when you booked your appointment.
- Bring your health card and signed requisition.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Bone Mineral Density
Service details- Avoid calcium supplements for 24 hours before your scan.
- Wear clothing without metal zippers, buttons or buckles in the scan area.
- Bring your health card and signed requisition.
Mammography
Service details- Do not wear deodorant, powder or lotion on your chest or underarms on the day of your exam.
- Wear a two-piece outfit for comfort.
- Bring your health card, requisition (if applicable) and any prior imaging if requested.
Ready to book your exam?
Most appointments are scheduled within a week. A physician requisition is required.
